Like all step drills from ALFRA, it allows centering, spot drilling, boring and deburring in one operation. Drillings are possible up to a material thickness of 4 mm.

You benefit from the advantages of our step drills with spiral groove and three cutting edges. The peeling cut ensures better chip removal. Compared to a straight flute, the flute geometry arranged around the drill results in a longer cutting edge. The drilling process is noticeably simplified. In addition to the high cutting performance, the spirally grooved chip chambers guarantee that the drill runs smoothly. As with all Alfra step drills, the drill tip is replaceable. This means that the drill can continue to be used - an investment that quickly pays for itself.
